For all of you people that are not quite hard-core gamers, but still like to be entertained while thinking, there’s a game out there for you : Specter Spelunker Shrinks from Fall Damage Games. It’s reminiscent of the old-school games like Q-bert, but with a modern twist to it. The whole game is controlled by using the keys on your keyboard, and you are running through a series of mazes while at the same time adjusting your size. On your computer keyboard, you’re using your right and left arrow keys to navigate through mazes of different sizes, while using your up and down key to grow and shrink.
When you’re growing and shrinking, you’re adjusting yourself to the size of the maze that way you’re able to navigate to the next section. The z key on your keyboard is used for jumping up and down steps, and you’re able to control it to where you’re running and jumping at the same time. I will say right now that while it sounds simple, it takes some coordination and some brain power to figure out where to go to next.
Specter Spelunker Shrinks is quite addictive and it’s easy to see this game catching on quickly. It’s a game for both children and adults, and parents will be at ease to know that it’s all innocent. I can see it being good for children to improve hand-eye coordination and for adults, young and old who like entertainment such as this. This game soon enough, will be a favorite among all demographics. Enjoy!
Specter Spelunker Shrinks was developed with the multi platform game development tool Unity.
