Punk-O-Matic 2 : Rock and roll all night
Tired of the monotonous internal squabbles that constantly tear amazing bands apart? Are too many voices attempting to assert control over what should rightfully be yours? Punk-o-matic 2, allows you to control every aspect of your new up and coming band.
You get to name them, design their appearance, shape their attitude, choose their songs, and pick the venues that they play. There is absolutely nothing standing in the way of your becoming a rock god.
Feel free to be creative and write your own songs. This is your band. If writing is not your thing, then there are plenty of already written songs to learn and play.
Visually, the graphics are just what you want for a punk rock game. The options available for designing the look of your band are crazy. You can make them mirror images of each other or you can go nuts and give each member his own unique style.
As far as the sound goes, this is a music simulation game. The music is awesome. Make a mistake and it will be noticeable. Take a moment to practice and learn the songs, it will be worth it.
Just like with any other music-based simulation game, the controls take a little getting used to. Punk-o-matic 2 allows you the opportunity to decide which buttons you would like to use when practicing or playing a show. The more you practice, the better you’ll get.
