BioGems is a fast-paced puzzle battle game with cartoon animal characters; the gameplay is simple yet fun and good for repeat plays. It uses the tried-and-true formula of swapping blocks on a grid to match up like colors in groups of three in a row or more, but the twist is that the colors each have specific effects rather than being arbitrary. Depending on the blocks you eliminate, you can heal and recharge your character, get shielding or counterattacks, or deliver three different types of attacks against the opponent. (more…)

3D La Supercars is a fast-paced web-based free racing game that combines the heart-pounding action of street racing with the ability to customize your vehicle into a machine that fits your driving style. Races take place in one of four courses that pit the player in a three-dimensional course, where the object is to speed to the finish line past hordes of rival drivers that will do their best to put the player out of commission. Money for upgrades such as acceleration and handling can be collected on the track, and driving requires a delicate balance of speed and maneuvering past the other cars that will attempt to inflict damage on the player’s car and put it out of commission. Brave Kings: Level Pack is an online game with some similarities to the game Angry Birds. The player uses a variety of Medieval-style weapons, such as a catapult, simple cannon, or mounted crossbow, to destroy defenses and kill the crown-wearing defender. In Rubble Trouble Tokyo you take on the role of a construction worker tasked with demolishing old buildings. You collect money for each block that is destroyed. When you have reached the target value the level is complete. There are a wide variety of tools at your disposal to achieve this goal. This is where the game’s creativity shines. Simple explosives are the most common tools provided. Ultimate Assassin 3, developed by 123games.com, is a Web-based game that uses very little technology, but is still very addictive. The character don’t have any true design — other than a black color for the assassin, a green color for the target and a blue color for guards or police officers. However, you can see the character’s legs move once the game starts.

Moto Trial Fest 2 is a free flash-based game you can play at various free arcade websites online. The objective is to stay aboard your motorcycle while riding it across a variety of tricky landscapes. Riders start out riding across rolling, bouncing logs, up a sharp outcropping of rock, and sharply down the other side, where they will run smack into a rotten tree trunk which remains standing only so far as to block the path.
