Monster Truck Destroyer is an extremely simple game to play, and like most games that have simple concepts, it’s also an extremely fun game! The basic premise is one that any fan of monster truck rallies, demolition derbies, or pretty much any activity that involves smashing large objects into small pieces – You are driving a monster truck through an obstacle course, breaking everything you can along the way. It is important to remember, however, that while cars and trucks are meant to be destroyed for bonus points, any people you encounter should be avoided!

The controls for this Monster Truck Game also couldn’t be simpler; movement is controlled with the arrow keys. The up arrow accelerates, the down arrow brakes, and the left and right arrows control whether the vehicle leans forwards or backwards. There aren’t any other controls beyond these. There are four vehicles to choose from for your destructive urges, three of which become accessible as the game progresses. Monster Truck Destroyer uses a cell-animation style graphic, which keeps things moving quickly without letting you become distracted by intricately detailed backgrounds. However, the simplistic animation style is still engaging and beautiful to look at.

The music for this game is a basic loop track of percussion instruments, with a fairly generic funk guitar and keyboard overlay – again, something that adds to the game experience, without being distracting. There is also a great little heavy metal track at the games’ opening sequence.
Monster Truck Destroyer is a great game that can be recommended for anyone who likes playing driving games, especially driving games where you get to smash things!
