Ghost Guidance

Ghost Guidance is a fairly straightforward left to right, flying shoot-em-up game, with an interesting premise – You control the fate of a ghost that was created and made self aware by humans, and has decided to escape.
The controls for the game are quite simple. The arrow keys control movement, which is very smooth in all directions, unlike other games of this type. When you begin the game, you are flying around as a small ghostly entity, which is very weak, and will in fact quickly die unless you ‘infect’ an enemy ship.

This is done by flying up to a ship and touching it. Once a ship is ‘infected, you health bar will rapidly increase back to full, and you will also have some armor, provided by the ship itself. If you have infected a ship that has weapons, they can be fired by using the A key, and any ship can be self-destructed by pressing the S key. This is done when you see a ship with better armor or a better weapons system.
The graphics for Ghost Guidance are typical of this type of free online game, in that they use a cell-style animation technique. The music and sound effects are well put together and interesting. Ghost Guidance is a great game overall, and can be recommended for anyone who enjoys flying and shooting games of this type.
