First Person Tetris
February 13, 2010

First Person Tetris is a slightly different version of the famous arcade game. In this particular version, the player sees a TV with the game system hooked up. When the person begins playing, they are in command of the entire TV, not just the blocks on the screen.
Unlike Tetris, the idea of First Person Tetris is to keep the block stack as close to the bottom as possible. This is achieved by creating solid lines across that will cause the blocks to dissolve and rack up points. If more than one line is dissolved at one time, the lines are worth more points. In order stack the blocks to form solid lines, a player must use the space bar to rotate the entire TV. This action is what actually turns the blocks and lines them up for placement. A user will need to ignore the TV and concentrate on the blocks.
The arrow keys are used to control the directions, left and right. The tricky part is depending on the placement of the actual TV in relation to which arrow keys needs to be used. Left and right will actually be up and down when the TV is on its side and the up and down arrow keys are used to move the blocks left to right.
