For experienced gamers, finding the right game to match wits with could be hard though. Upon looking a little deeper than the obvious, you find games like 1066. 1066 is one of the many games that can be played for free, but with one difference, it has serious depth.
The first thing you notice about the game is the soundtrack. It rivals Hollywood pictures of the medieval time period, rather than a video game. The impressive sounds that are orchestrated are not your typical online or even console gaming type. As the game loads, you’re treated to a glimpse of what’s to come, matched with sounds that will take you back in time, to an age of wonder, magic, and mystery. Free flash games have taken the Internet gaming community by storm. What’s most impressive is how sophisticated these games are becoming. Not so long ago, the best Flash games were tantamount to virtual whack-a-mole. Now we have addictive flash games around which entire social networks are forming.
Along the way, we’ve also uncovered a vital piece of information. People love gems. People apparently love virtual gems just as much as the real thing. Nob War: The Elves is a NobStudio game where you guide your elf army alongside your human and centaur allies across 19 levels. The unit you control directly is the elf army, which shoot arrows at a distance. You can summon your high defense human allies, who move slower than your elves but have a much higher defense, and will hold off enemies so you can shoot them. You can also summon centaurs, which will charge an enemy and stun them, which is useful against groups of enemy archers. (more…)

Hex Empire is an odd little turn based strategy game, somewhat along the lines of Risk. In this game, you choose from one of four badly-named kingdoms, picking Redosia, Violetnam, Bluegaria, or Greenland – rather obvious ways of saying red, purple, blue, and green. (more…)

Sporecraft is a flash-based real-time-strategy game that gives you control over a team of vicious microorganisms. This of course implies the fun conceit of the petri dish as map, and Sporecraft implores the player to assert his or her dominance over the entirety of the dish.

Bloons Tower Defense 4 is an exciting game by Ninja Kiwi! You pick a maze for the balloons to go through and you have to buy different monkeys to pop the balloons before they get out of the maze.
You start with enough money to buy a dart monkey. As the dart monkey pops the balloons, you get more money with every balloon popped. You can then upgrade your dart monkey which will pop the balloons faster. As you progress through each round, more monkeys become available to buy and you have to strategically place them in the best spot to pop the most balloons. (more…)
